MICROSOFT AGREEMENTS

MICROSOFT CAMPUS AGREEMENT

Departments may lease software, based on the number of Full Time Employees (FTE). This benefits departments that have more computers than staff members, and upgrade Microsoft products often.

This is the Microsoft software agreement used by many UCSD departments.

MICROSOFT SELECT AGREEMENT

There is no minimum order. Most popular products are available on-line. Media takes 6-8 weeks to arrive. Our license codes do NOT work with UCSD Bookstore Microsoft software media. The licenses we provide are perpetual with optional Software Assurance (Maintenance).

CDs do not come with or include licenses, so you would have to order at least one license for any CD that you order.

Ordering Tips

A $20 transaction fee is added to each Microsoft order.

HOW TO GET A WINDOWS XP LICENSE OR A OFFICE 2003 LICENSE

We no longer sell licenses for XP or Office 2003, but you can purchase the new license version (Vista) and install the old version (XP). This process is called "downgrading".

Windows volume licenses are upgrade licenses only, but you can do a fresh install. We have the software on-line so you would not have to order the CD if you can burn a .ISO file to disk.

OTHER MICROSOFT AGREEMENTS AND INFORMATION

ACS Computer Repair & Installation sells Windows Operating System licenses for computers with no upgrade-eligible license for Windows.
