Software Renewal Calendar

Some of the programs have annual maintenance, some are subscriptions, and some agreements are regularly re-negotiated with vendors. Subscriptions may be required to continue to use software in the case of SAS or Matlab. Maintenance in the case of products like windows Adobe Products or anti-virus software allows you to have access to the current versions, or anti-malware definitions

January
  • Microsoft Select 6 (Applications, System upgrades, and Server software) agreement runs until 1/31/2011. All S/A or subscriptions end 1/31/2011 unless renewed between approximately 12/31/2010 and 1/15/2011.
February
  • ESRI program subscription renews each February.
  • Sun Microsystems software support agreement renews each February 1st. Maintenance allows continued use of the products.
March
  • March 2007. All Adobe CLP maintenance ends unless renewed shortly before.
April
  • EMC Networker (Legato) maintenance program renews in April.
  • JMP program renewals due by April 14 each year.
  • UC Consolidated Microsoft Campus Agreement program renewals are due at ACS in April, for a July 1 effective date.
June
  • 6/30/08 wolfram Mathematica 70% discount license agreement ends
July - beginning of Fiscal year
  • Maple renews on July 1. Maintenance allows continued use of the product. If you do not renew by that date, your license may be moved to another user.
  • SAS (statistical application software) renews on July 1.
  • Eudora (email application) maintenance renews on July 1. Maintenance allows use of the current version.
  • Imagecast departmental licenses (current competition to Ghost) This agreement renews each July 1. Maintenance allows continued use of the product.
  • HP- enterprise operating systems CSLG program runs on the fiscal year and is renewed each July 1. Maintenance allows continued use of the product.
  • PTC/Pro Engineer annual subscription renews for academic, year July 1
August
  • Matlab for networked workstations agreement renews on August 1st each year.
  • Red hat FTE end of agreement 8/2008. All Redhat updates purchased directly after that.
September
  • 9/15 Wolfram Mathematica annual network license renewals due
  • 9/30 Altair Hyperworks annual network license renewals due
