Suggested Anti-virus Products
The Next Generation Network (NGN) project is now providing Sophos at no charge to the UCSD community for Windows, Mac, Unix/Linux, Exchange, Windows Server, and Novell Server. Licenses may be used at home by the same user.
- NGN funds free Puremessage Virus & Malware scanning for e-mail servers. E-mail us the number of mailboxes you would like to scan and the name of the server to software@ucsd.edu to receive access information.
- Symantec products for Virus & Malware protection are available via a special UC-wide volume license agreement: Symantec Info
